.es Domain Specific Terms
These terms apply in addition to the Domain Name Registration and Management Terms whenever the ordered extension is .es or another .es level offered in the order.
1. Registry
.es names are administered by the Spanish public registry Red.es. The registrant accepts the current Red.es terms and conditions, registration rules and procedures and Netim special conditions for .es domain names (CP-ND-ES), including their eligibility, naming and dispute-resolution rules as amended by the registry or registrar.
2. Accurate identification
The registrant must provide its correct legal name, country and valid identity or organisation identifier and must identify authorised contacts. Red.es or the registrar may request evidence. Inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information can delay, reject, suspend or cancel the registration.
3. Right to the name
The registrant represents that the requested name is lawful, is not reserved or prohibited, and does not infringe third-party rights. Registration does not grant a trade mark or other right beyond the registry allocation.
4. Communications and proceedings
The registrant must keep contact details current and respond to registry or registrar communications. The domain is subject to the .es out-of-court dispute procedure and to decisions or instructions issued by Red.es or a competent authority.
5. Language and controlling rules
This summary explains the operational obligations but does not replace the official Red.es rules. If there is a conflict, mandatory Spanish law and the current official registry rules control the registration.
