A public availability result is useful for building a cart, but it is not a reservation. Silurian checks availability and current price again immediately before creating the order.
Extension rules
Every extension can define its own registrant eligibility, syntax, required contacts, registration periods and transfer rules. Some restricted extensions remain visible so their requirements can be understood but cannot be ordered without review.
Periods and add-ons
The minimum initial registration period can differ from the renewal period. A local-presence or trustee service may be optional or mandatory for an otherwise ineligible registrant and is priced as a separate order item.
Premium names
Individually premium-priced names are not sold through the current self-service flow. A normal catalogue extension price never overrides a premium response.
Registration and Cloudflare
The registration product owns renewal, registrant contacts, transfers, nameserver delegation and registrar-side DNSSEC. Cloudflare independently owns authoritative DNS, proxying, TLS, security and performance. Silurian links both products without confusing their responsibilities.
