What the service protects

A domain is placed on Cloudflare's authoritative DNS and eligible web traffic is proxied through Cloudflare before it reaches the origin. This creates one control point for TLS, DDoS mitigation, firewall policy, caching and performance settings.

The three foundations

Silurian presents the product as one understandable service while preserving the separate controls underneath it.

• Security: managed DDoS protection, WAF and bot or access controls according to plan.
• Performance: CDN caching, compression, modern protocols and optional traffic optimisation.
• DNS: authoritative DNS with fast propagation, DNSSEC support and proxy-aware records.

Bring an existing domain

Registration and Cloudflare service are independent. You can keep a domain with its current registrar and delegate DNS to the managed service, or combine it later with a Silurian domain product.

Plans and activation

A Free plan is a genuine starting point for eligible zones. Paid plans and add-ons use the current Silurian catalogue price shown before checkout and activation.
